21st Century #AlphaLady

2018 was about strengthening my resolve to letting go and moving forward! That involved sorting through the past, smoothing lumps and bumps along the way and filtering out the waste to remodel life as I envision it. Stories you will most likely read about in the near future. Don’t be too surprised if you find a tv series follow.

#NewYear #NewBeginnings! Thats the 2019 motto. Doing things differently to the way things had previously been done. While continuing the search for my own individuality and way of doing things, being healthy, living healthier, exercising, being organised, the search for something deeper and meaningful is forever at the forefront of my mind.

Presently speaking, I have entitled my 2019 blogging series, "#DiariesOfASingleMum", beginning with this post, 21st Century Alpha Lady. A new project in the makings for sometime which will cover a wide range of topics. In addition too, I will Vlog for contrast and personal touch. Day 11 into the New Year and the goal from this point forward is to post a blog on the first Friday of each month hereafter, 9am-midday (Aust eastern standard time) and post blogs for those special occasions. However slight the delay in posting , it worked out nonetheless.

21st Century Alpha Lady

In moving forward, I hope you will engage with me as we embark on this cosmic journey together leaping into the future to experience new adventures with both wings spread far and wide to share and enjoy the resplendent periods ahead. The journey thus far has been nothing short of a rollercoaster ride and balancing act but that is life. It is a beautiful gift, full of surprises, twists and turns, filled with opportunity and blessings.

As this is my first blog for the year, I wanted to paint a mental image in your mind and give you an idea of the kind of person you are reading about. The 21st Century Alpha Lady. What is the New Age Alpha Lady? What does it even mean? Allow me to offer a subjective interpretation; Alpha refers to hierarchy amongst animals and is also used to type human and when applied can denote position in social hierarchy as pack leader; Lady as a polite and formal way of addressing female; New Age referencing a broad forward thinking alternative approach; put them together and wella! The New Age Alpha Lady and she is a boss Lady in every sense of the word.

Summed up in few words: she is fearless, decisive, well balanced and intuitive. She is the Astrological Cancerian/Dragon three times over and mother Matriarch; She is fiercely protective and self sacrificing and when she love's, she loves unconditionally and without reservation; She is a self starter business woman. She is independent, forward thinking, adaptable, understanding, compassionate, reliable, honourable. She is imperfect, has many flaws and makes mistakes but she owns them all. This Alpha Lady wears her scars like a crown. You cannot throw the past in her face, she bears no secrets and you have no ammo; She is a warm spirit and the kind of friend you can call upon in time of need. She’ll refuse to comfort ignorance and lives for the greater good. She lives with the mindset that “Anything is possible”. What do you expect. She is after all pack Leader of the Generation X and in her mindset that means “I can do anything I put my mind to'; You can’t tell her she can’t do it because she will demonstrate otherwise. She'll fight for equal rights and justice. She is one of the Gatekeepers of balance and order. She is an old soul living in the 21st Century. She lives in this world, but is not of this world. She is all of these things and more. That is the true nature of this Alpha Lady. Reality is, Some of you will engage with me or relate and some of you won’t. Each to their own.

Subsequently overtime, the goal is to generate a steady stream of supporters and readers to join me on this epic journey as I continue to work my plan and grow my business. In addition to devoting time to blogging once a month, I will make a concerted effort to reply to comments at the designated times I have stipulated. Know that I will endeavour to be as honest and forthcoming as I can possibly be. Tune in!
